Those of you who know me personally, know where I work. For those who don't know, lol (sorry I don't give it out lol) Well anyway, I use to work like 40 ish hours a week. Recently I started to work 1 day a week, at first I didn't have a reason at all, no I didn't ask to do so the manager just "decided" to have me work like that. I later find out that its because I don't show that I want to be there. It rolls around to review time and I'm like " Tell me any time that a customer has said that they couldn't come up to me and get any information about what ever." Which I know I'm right about. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I'm the perfect person at that job. NO one is, BUT I'm also not the one who will suck up to move up in some place that that's all they want from the people who work there.
Since I've been there for so long, all the people who know me in there like really know me ask me about different things dealing with work. I'm always ready to help them but I don't make a show about it. That's something I've voiced a lot, like why put on a huge show about how you help people. I'm more of a one on one person , so when I help people they get what they need and if we don't have it then I will give them all of what they need to find it. Apparently that's not enough, I must also act a damn fool towards customers! I don't understand that, I mean why, I've done a lot of shopping, and I know that people don't like to be bothered!
I mean shit let them shop! 99% of the people who come to the store know what the fuck they want! Most of the kids just want to stuff their asses in to super skinny jeans (I'm talking about the boys) Complain about how 50.00 is too much to pay for jeans because it will eat in to their window shopping from their burger king check! I know this because I listen to what people talk about when they are sticking their hands in to the middle of the pile of jeans or tee shirts to get the size that's right on top. Lord its such a waste of time. lol
The only way that any one moves up in there is to be friends with someone who is already high up and hang with them in the oddest of places, to get a high and drunk with them so they can "talk good" about you because you are their friend. How sad is that? Ive even stated that, to some people, how can you work some place and then just because you are bff with someone high up you get to move up with no experience.
Who suffers? I tell you who, the people who work hard have to deal with people who don't know anything at all and still have to help them out to look better! Haaaa lol
